Now retired, his last full time teaching position for 8 years was as Senior Teacher at the Upper Canada College Norval Outdoor School.
Grant<\/strong> has been an outdoor and environmental educator for a career that spans 6 decades.
He lived in Georgetown for 16 years.
Grant<\/strong> has delivered more than 1250 presentations on climate change to a wide variety of audiences.
He has also written a book entitled Outdoor Magic: The Power of Nature Connection<\/strong><\/p>\r\n
Grant<\/strong> will draw on stories and images from his book as well as making the connection between regular, positive experiences in the outdoors and developing the spark and drive to tackle the existential issue of climate change.
The book will be available for sale ($20 for paperback; $30 for hard cover)<\/p>\r\nRegular monthly meetings September to May.
