What is a naturalist?<\/p>\n

We welcome anyone<\/strong> interested in the study, conservation, and enjoyment of nature. No formal training nor expertise is required, just a love of nature and a keen eye for observation.<\/p>\n
Our club was established in the 1960s and was originally called the Georgetown and District Naturalists Association. We\u2019re a member club of Ontario Nature<\/a> (formerly Federation of Ontario Naturalists) and our members live in Halton and North Peel including Caledon, Georgetown, Brampton, Acton, and Milton.<\/p>\n

- Amphibian monitoring, including salamanders and Frog Watch<\/li>\n
- Stewardship and inventory of local nature reserves<\/li>\n
- Leading hikes and nature outings for schools and other community groups<\/li>\n
